Sky Betting and Gaming Signs with Evolution Gaming

Evolution Gaming, the pioneer of live dealer gaming, has signed an agreement with Sky Betting & Gaming, one of the world's leading betting and gaming operators, to provide customers with live broadcast-quality casino gaming on its Sky Vegas platform.

Sky Betting & Gaming's business has experienced significant growth in the last year thanks to the company's diversification from its traditional focus on Interactive TV sports betting and has now decided to partner with Evolution in response to customer demand for live casino games. The relationship will enable Sky Betting & Gaming to offer its customers interactive live blackjack, baccarat and roulette with live dealers using real cards and tables. 

The deal looks set to be the next major step in the rapid growth of live gaming with Sky Betting & Gaming considering streaming their live casino on both online and TV platforms so as to provide their players with a fully multi-channel solution.

"Live dealer will allow our customers to experience something beyond traditional RNG based gaming - a realistic and interactive casino experience," said John Parsonage, Head of Gaming at Sky Betting & Gaming. "We strongly believe that Evolution is the best service provider in the market and we are examining the legal and technical issues that would allow us to offer live gaming both online and through television."

Sky Betting & Gaming is the latest major operator to link-up with Evolution Gaming thanks to a growing realisation that live dealer is set to dictate the future of online casinos. The UK operator's monthly customer survey revealed just how keen its customers were to move on from RNG casino games.

Fredrik Österberg, Sales Director at Evolution Gaming commented: "Many keen gamblers, particularly high-rollers, see live-dealer gaming as the closest thing to the genuine casino experience. We are giving online gaming operators the quality and transparency they need to fully embrace the format."

This latest deal cements Evolution's position as the world's leading provider in live-dealer gaming.
