It was lucky 7 for Evolution Gaming as the company achieved a remarkable seventh consecutive win in the EGR B2B Awards, held at the Tower of London Pavilion on Wednesday 1 June.
Evolution was once again named Live Casino Supplier of the Year at the annual ceremony, beating the other shortlisted contenders Extreme Live Gaming, Ezugi, Medialive Casino, NetEnt and Playtech.
The award was presented to Evolution Gaming Chief Commercial Officer Sebastian Johannisson by the compere for the evening, comedian Simon Evans.
Speaking later during the evening Johannisson said: “For Evolution and its staff this is a fantastic way to round off another landmark 12 months. During this period we have opened two further Live Casino studios, both in Belgium; we have won significant new business, not least from world leaders such as Genting and Micrograming; we have launched a host of new games including our all-new Baccarat offering and flagship Live Baccarat Squeeze; and we have listed the company on Nasdaq First North Premier in Stockholm.”
Johannisson continued: “These successes were followed in April by our 10th Anniversary celebrations — and now a seventh win on the bounce in the EGR awards has made 2016 an extra-special year for Evolution.”
Reflecting on Evolution’s remarkable unbroken run of wins, he commented: “We work very hard indeed to achieve sustainable commercial advantage for our licensees. We know that the results we have achieved for our licensees, as do they, — and the innovations we have introduced on their behalf — have been major factors in us winning this award in every single year since the awards were established. We know also that it takes a great deal to retain such an award. There are a growing number of Live Casino providers who are pushing forward aggressively, but that simply drive us on. We have a lot of exciting developments that will be revealed in the year ahead, which we believe will further reinforce our leadership position in the Live sector.”
About the EGR B2B Awards
The annual EGR B2B Awards, which began in 2010, reward and celebrate the best service providers and B2B operators in the online gaming industry. The awards recognise the achievements of suppliers from all major egaming disciplines including betting and gaming software, networks, mobile, payments, recruitment, marketing, IT and infrastructure. The awards event is attended by over 500 egaming supplier and service provider professionals.
