Sebastian Johannisson has successfully been Head of Account Management for Evolution since 2008. He now takes over as CCO. James Stern has been Head of Business Development for Evolution since 2014, which he joined from a similar role at IGT. He now takes the role of Director of Business Development & Land-based Sales. Marcus Huber is currently Director Strategic & International Sales at e-commerce and payment services company Klarna, and will join Evolution as Head of Account Management in October. All of them will be part of the Evolution Malta management team and report to CEO Martin Carlesund.

In connection with the appointment of Sebastian Johannisson as new CCO, Evolution co-founder and CCO Fredrik Osterberg takes the role of Group Chief Strategy Officer.

Fredrik Osterberg said: “Sebastian has had a decisive role in the strong licensee portfolio that Evolution has built up over the years, and I feel confident to now pass on the operational commercial responsibility. The appointment allows me to focus on strategic issues with the objective to build long-term shareholder value for the group.”

Martin Carlesund added: “One of my first tasks as CEO of Evolution Malta has been to strengthen the commercial base when Jens von Bahr and Fredrik Osterberg move into pure group management roles. With Sebastian, James and Marcus, we have a very strong team that will continue to build the Evolution success story.”
