Evolution, leading provider of Live Casino solutions, has been named Digital Industry Supplier of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards and Casino Content Supplier of the Year at the EGR Italy Awards.
Evolution beat nine other shortlisted companies to win the Digital Industry Supplier in the Global Gaming Awards, which reward the providers that take digital gaming forward into the future and provide operators with the tools to advance the gaming industry.
For the second year running, Evolution was crowned Casino Content Supplier of the Year at the EGR Italy Awards and was up against 13 contenders from all gaming verticals. The EGR Italy awards reward Italy’s leading online gaming operators and service providers to celebrate industry excellence over the past 12 months and showcase the breadth and depth of the regulated egaming sector.
The awards were announced at the virtual ceremonies streamed online on 27 October.
Speaking after the award, Chief Product Officer, Todd Haushalter said, “We are incredibly honoured to win these two awards on the same evening! 2020 has been an extremely busy and challenging year at the same time. Our aim is to make games that players love and this year has been no exception. We have expanded our diverse range of Live games and game shows even further, releasing a record 12 titles, we have launched a state-of-the-art studio in Pennsylvania and we have rebranded, as well as changing many operational procedures due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. This award is an incredible capstone on all the great work the team does!”
The Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas are powered by Gambling Insider and are officially adjudicated by KPMG Isle of Man. The EGR Italy Awards are officiated by Deloitte.
Evolution today announced a multi-year amendment to its existing partnership with Boyd Interactive, under which Evolution becomes the exclusive provider of Live Dealer content across Boyd Interactive's North American online casino brands.

Evolution has launched Disco Balls, a new live ball-drawing game that introduces evolving multipliers to the main game. Inspired by the energy and style of Funky Time, the game combines easy-to-follow number betting with multipliers that build as the round unfolds and can carry through into the Disco and VIP Disco Bonus games, with total multipliers reaching up to 10,000x.

At first, the main challenge was convincing people that the game was as real as it gets. When Evolution launched in 2006, live casino meant streaming a real casino table to a player’s computer.
