Evolution Gaming, leading provider of Live Casino solutions, has been crowned Casino Content Supplier of the Year at the EGR Nordics Awards 2018.
The EGR Nordics Awards 2018, which culminated in the awards ceremony at the Corinthia Hotel, St. George's Bay, Malta on 18 January, reward successful and innovative online gaming companies operating in the Nordic region.
Evolution was up against contenders from all gaming verticals, beating nine other shortlisted companies to win the prestigious award.
Speaking after the award presentation, Marcus Huber, Head of Key Account Management at Evolution, said: “It has been another remarkable year at Evolution with unprecedented levels of innovation and product rollout. This award means a lot to us as many of our licensees have a strong presence in the Nordics, which we continually support with our focus on customer optimisation and localisation to provide them with a unique player experience for their customers.”
Huber added: “These awards recognise the operators and service providers that have stood out over the past 12 months in what is an extremely competitive market. For us to win the overall Casino Content Supplier of the Year category against extremely tough competition from the whole Casino market is a huge honour. It recognises that Evolution offers the most remarkably rich and diverse portfolio of content solutions — including many exclusive titles — for both pure online operators and for land-based casinos too.”
Evolution today announced a multi-year amendment to its existing partnership with Boyd Interactive, under which Evolution becomes the exclusive provider of Live Dealer content across Boyd Interactive's North American online casino brands.

Evolution has launched Disco Balls, a new live ball-drawing game that introduces evolving multipliers to the main game. Inspired by the energy and style of Funky Time, the game combines easy-to-follow number betting with multipliers that build as the round unfolds and can carry through into the Disco and VIP Disco Bonus games, with total multipliers reaching up to 10,000x.
