Evolution, leading provider of online casino solutions, has won the Innovation in Casino Entertainment award at the Sports Betting Community (SBC) Awards 2020.
Crazy Time was recognised by the SBC judges for its high production values, real commitment to entertainment and depth of engagement, with the Crazy Time bonus round being commended for reinventing the way casino games are played in a more fun and interactive manner.
Evolution beat 13 other shortlisted companies to win the award, which recognises the company behind the most exciting innovations in the gaming sector, with an emphasis on technological innovations and their impact on customer experience, operational performance, product creation and revenue growth. Evolution received its award at the SBC Awards virtual ceremony held on 9 December 2020.
On winning the award, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter said: “We are thrilled to have won this award for Crazy Time. Our team worked tirelessly to create our most ambitious game to date, integrating multiple cutting-edge technologies in one game, including Random Number Generator (RNG) multipliers, augmented reality, slots-style and video-gaming elements. This award is dedicated to the hundreds of people at Evolution who worked on Crazy Time!”
The SBC awards recognise the achievements of operators, suppliers and affiliates from across all the major disciplines including payments, marketing, platform providers and data.
At first, the main challenge was convincing people that the game was as real as it gets. When Evolution launched in 2006, live casino meant streaming a real casino table to a player’s computer.

Evolution has launched MONOPOLY Roll ’em, a new live dice game inspired by the world-famous board game. Combining straightforward gameplay, short and easy-to-follow rounds, and dynamic multipliers of up to 300x, MONOPOLY Roll 'em invites players to predict where the iconic MONOPOLY top hat will land as it moves around a 12-square board. This release forms part of Evolution’s exclusive partnership with Hasbro.
