Evolution Job Shop

In Riga, Evolution operates its own manufacturing workshop: Evolution Job Shop. A boutique facility where ideas move directly from design to production. Here, equipment for live casino games and studios is built with precision, speed, and full creative control. Items that cannot be sourced elsewhere are developed here.

Built to create what does not exist

The Job Shop was established in 2020 as part of Evolution’s technical operations.

Its purpose is simple: Give our teams the ability to prototype and manufacture specialised equipment designed by Evolution’s research and development (R&D) teams.

Some components used in live games and studios are difficult to source externally. Others simply do not exist.

Producing them in-house ensures speed, flexibility, exact specifications, and lasting quality.

Precision manufacturing

The workshop is equipped with advanced manufacturing tools, including CNC (Computerised Numerical Control) machinery.

Pre-programmed software controls cutting and shaping with extremely high precision.

Additional equipment (including lathes, axis mills, welding, and painting systems) supports the full production cycle from raw material to finished components.

A team of skilled machinists, fabricators, and print operators manage daily operations, ensuring uninterrupted production and consistent quality.

From prototype to production

The Job Shop produces a wide range of equipment used across Evolution’s global studio network.

Examples include

  • gaming table components incorporating Evolution’s scalable Blackjack technology
  • dice launchers used in Craps games
  • automatic dice shakers for Sic Bo and Bac Bo
  • mechanical elements used in game shows such as Crazy Coin Flip

The team also produces table layouts, which are heavily used and require rapid replacement cycles.

Having production in-house allows designers to iterate quickly and refine layouts during the development phase.

Speed, quality, control

The Job Shop operates as a small-batch production facility dedicated to Evolution’s internal needs.

This approach allows new devices and parts to be manufactured in days rather than weeks.

The result is faster product launches, reliable quality, and the ability to build equipment that precisely matches the needs of each studio and game.

Supporting innovation

The combination of Evolution’s R&D expertise and the Job Shop’s manufacturing capability enables rapid experimentation and development.

New ideas are designed, tested, refined, and produced without relying on external suppliers.

It is a quiet but essential part of how Evolution turns concepts into working games and studio environments.
