Evolution Gaming, leading provider of Live Casino solutions, has today gone live with Baccarat Controlled Squeeze, the latest addition to the all-new Live Baccarat offering the company rolled out earlier this year.

This latest launch means that Evolution now offers two state-of-the-art variants of the live squeeze for its licensees and their players: Live Baccarat Squeeze, in which the dealer performs the squeeze, and the new Live Baccarat Controlled Squeeze, in which players literally take control of the squeeze themselves on their desktop, tablet or smartphone screen.

The new Controlled Squeeze game is streamed from a custom-designed, multi-HD camera table at Evolution’s Riga studios. The table features glass panel inlays in the table top and, in addition to the main above-table camera, two cameras integrated underneath the table.

Cards are dealt face-down onto the glass panels and the under-table cameras relay close-up images of the card faces to the player’s screen. The card faces are obscured by optical filters and an overlay mask built into the game’s UI. Players simply click or tap on any edge of each card to peel back the overlay mask and reveal the card value. The game also allows players to practise the squeeze without the need to place a bet.

Richard Hadida, Evolution co-founder and Creative Director, said: “The ritual of the squeeze is such a special part of the game of Baccarat for so many players, particularly VIPs and those looking for a Macau-like Baccarat experience.”

He added: “Baccarat is the most popular speciality casino card game in the world in terms of the amount wagered. As we have seen with our initial Live Baccarat Squeeze product, the authentic replication of the squeeze in a live online version of Baccarat is highly effective in attracting high-wagering Baccarat enthusiasts. This latest squeeze variant extends player choice and allows our licensees to maximise their opportunities in this incredibly exciting and specialised area of the Live Casino market.”
