A NorthStar Projector Module is a collimated IR beam generator that projects an IR light spot with up to 120mW. A microprocessor controls the blink pattern to generate NorthStar spot encoding with 20 selectable "spot ID" codes. This device is modular and expandable. For increased light intensity, just connect more modules (the individual modules can synchronize through daisy chaining by plugging directly into each other with no added wiring). For direct light (instead of projected light), the collimating lens is easily removed. For reduced light, the number of LEDs that illuminate is controllable. The NorthStar Projector Kit includes:
- 2 NorthStar Projector Modules (fully configurable & programmable, can daisy-chain multiple projector modules)
- Adjustable Mounting Bracket
- 240/120 AC Power Transformer with Y Splitter (to power 2 banks of modules)
