- You must use one of the following cameras with ERSP Vision software: Logitech 4000, Logitech 3000, IBot (firewire), Kritter USB cam, Hawking 310, Creative WebCam NX, or DLink DSB-C310 camera.
1. THE ERSP VISION DEMO WILL ONLY WORK WITH THE FOLLOWING CAMERAS:
- Logitech 4000
- Logitech 3000
- IBot (firewire)
- Kritter USB Cam
- Hawking 310
- Creative WebCam NX
- DLink DSB-C310
2. HOW YOU CAPTURE THE IMAGE OF AN OBJECT WILL DETERMINE IF THE SOFTWARE CAN RECOGNIZE IT.
- Use a plain white or plain black background when capturing the image of the object you want to recognize.
- The plain background will have little to no features so ERSP Vision will not consider the background as part of the object you want to recognize.
3. ERSP VISION WORKS BEST RECOGNIZING OBJECTS AND IMAGES THAT HAVE MANY DISTINCT FEATURES.
- ERSP Vision is not well suited to recognizing objects and images that very plain and don't have much detail. For example, the software will have a much easier time recognizing and wallpapered wall, versus a plain white wall. The same holds true for objects such as a one-color coffee mug or a piece of fruit.
- Better objects include paper money, business cards, book covers, cereal boxes, mail and so on.
