Easy-To-Assemble Hardware
The ER1 chassis is durable, re-configurable and capable of carrying up to 20 lbs. of payload. All construction components are made of professional-grade aluminum, and the electronics feature digital and analog ports for expansion. And even though the hardware is built to last, it only takes a couple of hours to assemble and no soldering is necessary — that is, of course, unless your custom robot design requires it!

T-slotted Beams and Connectors
The easy-to-assemble ER1 frame is made of extruded aluminum beams and plastic connectors that slide together easily. And since the ER1 uses standard T-slotted beams, third party materials and add-ons are readily available to customize your robot.

Electronics Drive System
The robot Control Module (RCM) interfaces the motors and I/O to the laptop that's running the ER1 software. The RCM has an USB port for connection to the laptop, a DC power input port, two ports for stepper motors, 8 digital outputs, and 15 analog inputs. Two pre-assembled drive systems are included, along with two stepper motors, two 4-inch diameter wheels, pulleys and belts. The kit also includes a 360-degree swivel caster.

Power Module
The ER1 rechargeable Power Module can keep your robot running for 2.5 hours. This 12V, 5.4 A-hr battery features an internal fuse for safety, two 12V unregulated DC output ports, and one DC charge input port.
